Please stop nitpicking... Why did you move green_tentacle's post out of the game thread? I specifically asked the game thread not to be touched for moderation purposes. Just leave it to the players to take action if they like the "guidelines" so much, judging by the majority view that would have worked just fine.

If you got voted out of the game you don't have to ruin it for everyone else.

As for rationalia staff moderation of mafia game threads, we can discuss keeping such matters off the game threads and in a separate thread to keep disruption to a minimum in future.

If you still want me to GM, the game thread should be off limits to everyone that is not playing.

You shouldn't. If everyone reveals their roles, the game design can't be reused.

I wouldn't call it standard, no. But it's a rougher version of the game than is played here at ratz. I like both styles of game.

I've started a sign up thread for the restart, so we can figure out who is in (there may be new players), and who is out (the timing may screw things up for some players).

No. But it's a style that some use to provoke a reaction. It's not mafia without at least one good meltdown. Part of the fun is working out whether the other player is genuinely upset and flying off the handle, or if they're staging it for effect. Scum-Oblivion faked a rather nice meltdown a few games ago at TR that had me feeling a bit guilty for lynching her by the end.

Even a fake meltdown can be quite cathartic.
