That's what PGMs are for...
But the real point of these weapons is terrorism, rather than attacking military targets in the south. They will be targetted randomly on populated areas of Seoul, and could certainly cause much damage and many casualties before the cave mouths could be attacked, unless it were done pre-emptively during a time of approaching hostilities...
I wonder how familiar the North is with the capabilities of our PGMs? I also wonder how many we have over here in the first place. I imagine it would take a while to hit all those big guns. Anyway, I'm about 80 or so km SE of Seoul. Hope the North's aim is reasonably good.

Did anybody ever play Mercenaries for the PS2? Every single discussion on North Korea I ever have reminds me of that game. It was fucking awesome. Derail ftw
FBM, we've never trusted the North before so I don't think it's wise to trust their aim, either

When I feel sad, I stop being sad and be awesome instead.

I can't imagine he doesn't already know it. He doesn't want to do it, he just wants the rest of the world to be scared he's going to.
What I've found with a few discussions I've had lately is this self-satisfaction that people express with their proffessed open mindedness. In realty it ammounts to wilful ignorance and intellectual cowardice as they are choosing to not form any sort of opinion on a particular topic. Basically "I don't know and I'm not going to look at any evidence because I'm quite happy on this fence."

SK just launched its first "weather satellite" a few weeks ago.

This seems as good a place to put this as any:

North Korea 'detains fishing boat from South'
A South Korean fishing boat missing in the Sea of Japan has been detained by the North, coastguard officials say.
The officials in the western port city of Incheon said the crew of the Daeseung was being investigated by North Korean authorities.
Tension remains high between the Koreas amid a naval exercise carried out by the South in the Yellow Sea.
The exercises were a show of force after the North was blamed for sinking a Southern warship in March.
North Korean media has so far made no comment on the latest report.
The North, which denied any involvement in the sinking of the Cheonan in March with the loss of 46 sailors, had pledged "strong physical retaliation" for the five-day naval exercises.
The South also recently carried out massive naval exercises with US forces in the Sea of Japan.
Authorities in the South Korean port of Pohang said the Daeseung had stopped sending signals after a fishing trip in the Sea of Japan, known in Korea as the East Sea, on Saturday.
I'm sure this will end well.

Probably something instinctive, but when I look at it for a few seconds, I feel the hair on the back of my neck start to stand up.

Try looking one in the eye live. There's something about a wolf that the Great Cats don't have when it comes to making the monkey brain jibber from the top of a tree. Part of the reason I like volunteering there is the chance to sit on the other side of the fence and look at them.
