The 'plasticiness' of the SA80 always let it down though. It just looks wrong. The SUSAT sight is amazing. I never got to shoot an L1A1, but I did shoot the "Rifle, Number 8" lots of times, plus a variety of handguns, GPMGs, Bren guns, and LMGs.

I always liked the MP5 A3 Heckler and Koch SMG, and the Sten gun is possibly one of the greatest bit of simplicity of all time.
