Shakey house
Shakey house
My house is shakey. I don't know why. It's situated by a busy main road. Everytime a lorry passes by you can hear and feel the vibrations as it goes past.. It's shakey. I'm worried about the resonance, will it fall down?

Eventually it will fall down. But then, eventually, everything will fall down
p.s. I thought we were having an earthquake a while back (certainly unusual for New England). But after this happened several times, I finally figured it was roommate and his g/f upstairs fucking. Kinda peculiar, and frightening, that they could make the whole apartment shake

People think "queue" is just "q" followed by 4 silent letters.
But those letters are not silent.
They're just waiting their turn.

And do you have a green door?

It's a piece of piss to be cowiz, but it's not cowiz to be a piece of piss. Or something like that.

a bit of entropy at work there. It is made of brick masonary or stone? and are there any big bad wolves in your vicinity?
Just because more people believe Jesus is the son of God and not the son of Satan does not make it any truer.

Re: Shakey house
Vibrations will be transmitted through rigid objects more easily than through loosely associated objects. So it's normal for the house to get the vibrations from the road.

Erm, no. The ground water levels are starting to affect them, putting salt into the structures' bases and heading them for catastrophe in as little as 60,000 years.RuleBritannia wrote:Pyramids are still going strong...tattuchu wrote:Eventually it will fall down. A pile of stone. A rather stable structure. Luckily, they didn't use mortar or it would have started to crumble already.RuleBritannia wrote:The pyramids (Giza) will out last everything built this decade.Gawdzilla wrote:Erm, no.
