And this is the post I made down the line, probably about some of our stupid theories although I don't remember what I was responding to:

Okay I'll play. Yes, I would have entertained the idea that there was no seer, just like I think there is no doc. And panicky is not even close to how I've felt during this game. We've had a first day suicide, a lying seer, 2 outed specials, and your multiple and ever changing theories, which frankly are hard to follow. Maybe if you're so sure you should lock in your vote.

There were several options that one would have concluded long before one entertained the notion there was no seer. Here's a few.

1) Ghat was indeed viewed as scum (and Ani was a seer).
2) Ani was scum pretending to be seer (but there probably was a seer).
3) Ani was town, but lying in some bizarre gambit (but there probably was a seer).

Nobody even guessed that Ani was a seer but was blocked by a roleblocker . . . (and there was a seer).

But even more far fetched, the idea that there was no seer at all. There was no information available to town to even suggest that.

Only somebody with special knowledge could have worked that far down the list of possibilities, and only scum has that kind of knowledge.

Look, this is your first gamehere. There have been several different combinations of specials in these games, and in a game this size town usually has gotten 2. So yeah, the possibility that there is no seer is perfectly logical. I think there was a game with no seer a doc and a vig or something. Anyhow, you need to get to basics and look for some scum, rather than posting these long rambling theories with multiple possibilities. Rarely does that strategy work in the long run.

And if I had special knowledge why would I fos the don right before nightfall <rolls eyes> Do you know why I did? Scum tells. Go back and look and see if you can spot them, they are p. obvious.

You are wrong about having to have special knowledge to propose that there is no seer.

As far as I know, the only knowledge the mafia players have are about each other, and that the rest of the players are town, by extension. Unless I'm misunderstanding you ... ?

My stupid theories include being the only person who voted for the Don on day one, agreeing with you that lynching all liars is wise gameplay on day two and, like you, I have had to formulate my plans based on some of the craziest and unexpected ploys I've ever seen in a game of Mafia.

Ghat is all but cleared, IMHO, by his day two martyrship vote. Mantis pings occasionally, but nothing severe. Same with Normal. That leaves you and Chalou, and your suspicion on Charlou looks like bussing, which is a scum defense.

And you pulled "There may be no seer" at a time when only scum would have even have had that thought. Charlou had also pinged around that same time.

Thus my vote, and my FoS on Charlou.

I'm keeping my vote on ghat, given uselesstwit's defense of him. He fos'd several townies, defended ghat. And who knows, maybe being the first to jump on the bw after cole's crazy stunt is scummy.

I don't know. I just thought ghat looked sincere, so I decided to believe him, and do it publicly.

I can see how zigman's quoting me when it wasn't me was most likely a mistake, but I don't get the same feeling of sincerity when I read the posts that followed that accusation. That's why I'd like to keep my vote on zigman for the moment.

I really do think that you're scum and Charlou is your team mate. I also believe you're trying to bus Charlou by FoSing him/her. Your change of direction seems to be in response to me pointing that out.
