America plays in white. How easy would it be to "shop" a red cross onto the shirts? :what:

American football doesn't have goals, but it's a different game, like Aussie Rules Football. If it was the same game, we'd call it soccer.

England WILL beat the USA at the soccerball match and, for pudding, will storm and burn the White House (again).

English Soccer Proven to be the Most Boring in the World!
Turning their minds from black holes to football, a group of astrophysicists at Warwick University have demonstrated the English premier league has some of the most boring games in the world.

Actually, what the study proves is that the EPL/FA Cup has less very high-scoring games than elsewhere - which is something completely different. And low-scoring games can often be very exciting, whereas high-scoring games can be boring if they're one-sided. :levi:

You may have burned it down during your criminal invasion, but you lost that war, too. Not satisfied with having your asses kicked once, you came back for more!

The War of 1812 was a glorious British victory. The War of 2010 will be just as illustrious - a future Shakespeare will write a jingoistic play about it....

Personally, I prefer cricket - curiously the first international match was the USA vs Canada...

Nah. Canada is the northern hemisphere. Doesn't make for good off-season 3-month junkets tours. :coffee:

Don't sell Canada short. Canadian chicks are hot. And, they want nothing more than to find an American or other non-Canadian to get them out of the cold.
