The Sopranos
I know this is going to sound weird, but until a few days ago, I'd never seen The Sopranos. I'm now 4 episodes into season 1.

Season one is a little dated in certain ways, but I expected that, as it is a decade old.Link wrote:I've also never seen The Sopranos, My parents have watched the whole lot though and seemed to like it, let me know what you think Pappa and if you likey then i'll nab the DVD box set off of themPappa wrote:I know this is going to sound weird, but until a few days ago, I'd never seen The Sopranos. The Sopranos is some of the best TV to come out of America ever. It doesn't always work but the blend of domestic drama, comedic bumbling, realistic language and sudden bursts of graphic violence was unique at the time and is still all too rare.
I wish I had never watched it - just so I could enjoy watching it all again for the first time.

Found it rather drab to be honest.
"The fact is that far more crime and child abuse has been committed by zealots in the name of God, Jesus and Mohammed than has ever been committed in the name of Satan. Many people don't like that statement but few can argue with it."

I only started watching it towards the end of season one, and I've yet to catch up with that season. Everything from that onwards I've seen. At least once.Pappa wrote:I've now watched all of season one. I like.
