Re: Spooks, Day 8

Thanks for the pointers J.A., I can see a lot of my own behaviour in some of those points.

I am happily surprised to be on the winning team(first time for everything).

Oblivion, as for odds are for being town, how do you explain my track record?

The world is a thing of utter inordinate complexity and richness and strangeness that is absolutely awesome. I mean the idea that such complexity can arise not only out of such simplicity, but probably absolutely out of nothing, is the most fabulous extraordinary idea. And once you get some kind of inkling of how that might have happened, it's just wonderful. And . . . the opportunity to spend 70 or 80 years of your life in such a universe is time well spent as far as I am concerned.

It's hard to know how much to take on board given I've never survived a game into its third day ;).

Thanks for running the game J.A.

Actually I'm still here, just went back and reread it a second time, counting all the mistakes I made. So what were the two glaring errors we made?
I take it Animavore was the second bomb?

Thanks again for the game J.A.

Over time, it will trend toward being town most of the time.

However I went from late October to mid-January without a single town role. It was somewhere between 6 and 8 games. People are still getting used to me not being scum every game.

You weren't special hunting and you didn't kill an outed seer asap.

Protip... specials look exactly like scum to vanilla town, but they are obviously easier to spot when you are scum, because you know they are not scum. Scum left sifaka in the game cos she looked scummy to town, but you didn't follow that logic far enough.

Thanks again for the game J.A.
No problem, dude.

Meh, I went from 2006 to 2009 without being scum. Your move.

Thanks for a great game J.A.

I was getting used to the GM trying to mess with our minds from the Rat-Skep games(and the paranoia game here), interesting to watch us do it to ourselves.

Thanks for the game JA  and thanks for the tips. Just a minor thing: in the lolcats game there was a vanilla townie who did bemoan the lack of PMing, and I took that as a scum tell (durro... yes I know I was obsessed  )

I like the zany play, even if it makes things harder for town :)

I genuinely hope they improve towns game.

Well, yes, my major point is that scum tells get buried in town playing badly, you're right.

I want to bring a few players here to show you guys what I'm talking about. I want to take you to somewhere else to play, if you're up for it
