Heh. Reading the game it seems you're not the only one.

As far as I can see there are two options:
1. sifaka has a seer type role and DP is scum
2. sifaka is suicidal scum giving misinformation.

In these situations it's nearly always (1), especially when the info is given at the beginning of a day. If scum is near victory and one of them is almost certain to be lynched they may try (2) but this is usual at the beginning of a day.

Of course there's also option
3. sifaka is a clueless newbie, doing FSM knows what.
