This is interesting, but I'm confused how it signifies Meph is scum.

Why do you think people who lynch voted Mephistopheles on day 1 would be targeted by scum? Two of them were lynched and two were night killed. It would be pretty difficult to orchestrate the two lynches unless scum really piled on, and Meph didn't lynch vote any of them. I guess he did put a vote on Ani on day 2.

If I'm right, it's as good a reason as any, surely. I grant you that after despatching (Mayor) Virphen, there was another possible motive for hitting (Mayor)Twinkie, but it struck me as an interesting coincidence when combined with the other factors, notably my point 2 which is the strongest one.

As for Meph not lynch voting Charlou or Ghatanothoa, I wouldn't expect him to. That would be too obvious. There are other bad guys besides him, presumably, as well as mistaken townsfolk. Look at this this way: of those five, two have been hit (Feck and Twinkie); one was lynched instead of Meph (Skinny) and Animavore survives. Maybe Ghat was a coincidence, but the other three casualties aren't.

Okay guys, I just haven't had the time to play this one properly and I'm too tired to go back and read the past few days. I'm basically asleep for most of the day rounds and busy otherwise. I feel like an asshole and deserve to be voted off simply for not participating and being pretty damn useless. Although I obviously think you guys should vote me off because I'm innocent and I still think we have a shot of winning, if I were you guys I'd probably want to lynch me as well. Although I have no defense and absolutely agree with you guys that I'm a prime target (I mean, I'm awake during the night rounds; that wouldn't affect my ability to play this game if I were scum), I can only urge you guys to trust me that I am indeed innocent and look elsewhere. Maybe the cop could investigate me if s/he has the balls to come out.

I think this'll be my last post in this game, because I'm starting a new job over the weekend. So once again I'm sorry, and I hope the townies manage a comeback. I'm going to sleep now.

P.S. One thing I would suggest would be that if indeed you guys feel that you should indeed lynch me, please go hunting elsewhere and wait to kill me off after you get lucky and kill a scum or two. That way when I turn out to be innocent you won't be so damn close to losing the game.

I get about a 10 minute window in the morning if i'm lucky. I'll hang around for half an hour tonight.
I guess the psychology behind keeping quiet is sound. There is no trail of evidence. It's why i picked on charlou. It's why I think witticism is still questionable.
But you have to put people in the position of being lynched to gauge a reaction i guess.

You people really pick up on some subtle clues, I'm just not sure they're solid enough to vote on. What I do know is that magicziggy raised a bunch of red flags for me yesterday and has now voted for 3 innocents in a row. This just might be my inexperience talking but that is enough for me.

I don't know which of them are quieter when they are scum. Thoughts?

I usually play sport most week nights so can only jump on-line late.

I vote for Skinny as a joke cause he posted that video of the Kitteh slamming into the cling wrap that was put over his cat door.

But because I didn't / don't know when the threads end - I couldn't pull my vote.

I'll vote for anyone tonight - if someone can give me a good reason to.
