All agreed on twinkie? I'll put in a hit now, I assume it can be overridden by one of you before the end of the night round if you change your mind. I probably won't be back online much until 6pm(BST) tomorrow, might get on for a little while at lunch though.

The world is a thing of utter inordinate complexity and richness and strangeness that is absolutely awesome. I mean the idea that such complexity can arise not only out of such simplicity, but probably absolutely out of nothing, is the most fabulous extraordinary idea. And once you get some kind of inkling of how that might have happened, it's just wonderful. And . . . the opportunity to spend 70 or 80 years of your life in such a universe is time well spent as far as I am concerned.

If there is a downside to being the hitman, maybe I should take it. I seem to have gotten thru the day round without any suspicion so no one is probably going to investigate or block me.

Sounds good. I'll reread the thread later, and if I see a major ah ha, I'll change it, but I doubt I'll see anything. I've already read through the thread twice and this was the best I could do. :?

Ok, I've had dinner, I've reread, and I've tried to think about this from several angles, but I'm just not seeing twinkie over feck.

The only way that twinkie could have known that skinny puppy wasn't town (since he was vanilla town) was if they had communicated privately. I don't want to bank on something like that, especially since he turned up vanilla town.

Feck sounds like he's more of a threat to DP than twinkie is to anyone on the scum team.

I'm going to switch our kill to Feck.

If you disagree, switch it back I guess.

I'll go with that, I just hope we get lucky and bag a special.

I don't know what people are playing in the day 2 thread, but it's not mafia.

DP, it looks like no matter what happens in any day of any game, Animavore goes after you. Did you kick his puppy or something?

IRight now, I'm thinking we should kill blip or meph tonight. Twinkie is also still in the running.

Kill meph, a lot of theories are based on the fact that the votes for him where changed to Skinny Puppy.
"The fact is that far more crime and child abuse has been committed by zealots in the name of God, Jesus and Mohammed than has ever been committed in the name of Satan. Many people don't like that statement but few can argue with it."

I'm weighing that against his demonstration of good mafia analytics today. Killing him could wind up throwing suspicion your way, or possibly DP's. But, leaving him in the game to theorize much longer could be worse.

My recommendation - don't argue against other people's theories - it gives the analytical players too much to work with later in the game. Pick someone to go after and do it. Don't be shy about starting a bandwagon or about joining one - join early. People who are in the middle of the pack are more likely to be scum. People who flip-flop get attention, too. Let town do the flip-flopping.

I've killed him in every game that I've been scum unless someone else got to him first. He was usually on the opposing scum team. :hehe:

I made one vote for Ani and now he has three.

Despite my obvious suspicious movements people are putting it down to being a noob.

Probably the last time I'll get away with mucking about. Will have to start reigning it in. Has helped me start a bandwagon twice, not a bad move on my part I think.

DP and Uselesstwit are now suspects, from the same one person. Will need to lynch him to buy time.

Oblivion, so far, is under every radar.

We can't whack macziggy tonight, it's an obvious sign that he was on the right track.

I think tonight we need to look at killing higgs, blip or twinkie, if we take out the more experienced players it'll make towns job a lot harder.

I agree, macziggy is off limits for now, and meph and animavore are doing our job for us.

I'd be happy with any of the three you mention.

Although blip's going thru and tallying everyone's vote and post count is providing an awful lot of info for the innocents.
