Why would voting for Meph indicate innocence?

That would only be the case if Meph turned out to be guilty, which we have no way of knowing yet, unless we lynch him. The innocents had no reason to favour Meph over Skinny except for their judgement on their behaviour.

Very flawed logic on behalf of Redial and Meph.

It's DP's life that you should take.
In case I'm not seen again 'til tomorrow which is likely if after I help my friend fit his kitchen floor we end up in the pub I just want you to know.

1. If I die tonight it is most likely DP.
2. Or scum pretending to be DP.
3. Or if I'm not lynched it means DP is scum and has decided not to kill me to make you all think he is not scum.

Either way; lynch DP tomorrow.
Animavore wrote:Vote DP.

DP knew that if he had me whacked everyone would be on to him so he chose not to whack him.
The guy is dangerous. Lynch the fucker.
There is no reason to trust this logic, but plenty of reason to mistrust it.

Well, either Meph is innocent and too defensive, or is scum and has been caught out.
Either Ani is trying to get vengence on DP, or is trying to kill him without having to murder him so as to avoid suspicion.
And blip keeps trying to start a conspiracy on day one.

Edit: Day two.

Of the two, I was the more aggressive and accusatory. Which means that, as a general trend, innocents would vote for me out of suspicion, and scum would keep me around to fuck things up later. That's why Skinny was kept around so long last game, that's why Durro was kept around so long the game before. The more fingers I point, the safer I am. Now that I've revealed that though, I guess anything can go.

You still haven't convinced me you aren't scum. I don't take slander lightly in this game.

Blip wrote:What is interesting is that born-again-atheist switched his vote from Meph to Skinny, and in so doing he changed the votes tally from Meph 5, Skinny 4 to Skinny 5, Meph 4. Feck then made it 5:5 again and Virphen’s vote made it 6:5. :ask:
I wasn't even looking for that, but you're right. born-again-atheist could very easily be scum. But again, I don't know the guy; I've played with most of you before so the profile is a little stabler. I have no idea whether this is clever manipulation or just n00b flailing.

I'm going to go find the Dune thread and see if this is true. I didn't pay much attention after the first night when I saved King Atreides' ass.

Actually you need to go back to the game before that on RDF where I was lynched for acting erratically.

Might be a bit hard to do that these days. :ddpan:

Who didn't vote at all?

If both Meph and Skinny are innocent (obviously the jury is still out on Meph) those who voted for neither would be suspicious - particularly those in the northern hemisphere.

Yes... convenient that RDF closes down before you ask people to check back to verify your innocence. :levi:
