It was exactly what I had expected. The acting was bad (except for Jackie), the script was messy, there were a lot of cheap jump scares, it was much less effective than the original, etc.
...but I liked it since I'm such a big fan of the franchise. Plus, it was interesting to see another version of Freddy. I like how Jackie made him his own, rather than copying Robert too much. Most people don't agree with me, but I love the make-up. Freddy looks less like a male witch and more like he's really been burnt.
Plus, they made him a child molester like originally intended (Wes decided not to explicitly state that he was because he didn't want to exploit the many child abuse cases that were going on around the time.).

Just watched Young Girls With Big Tits Vol.9
It was exactly with it said.
Now excuse me. I've to go post somewhere else.

Yesterday I had a day off and watched some of my older DVD's. One of them I had forgotten how much I liked. It's "Interstella 5555" made by Leiji Matsumoto (who made "Space Battleship Yamato" in the 70's) and Daft Punk. No dialog, just the stunning graphics thought out by Matsumoto and the music of Daft Punk. It works on so many levels, I love it.
Best regards,

How to Tame Your Dragon. Dude. Dude? Duuude. Dude. Dude. And that's all I'm going to say about that.
People think "queue" is just "q" followed by 4 silent letters.

But those letters are not silent.

They're just waiting their turn.

Got mixed reviews but Tookey in the Mail didn't like it so I knew I would....

The review in Saturday's Independent was incredible. 5 stars, film of the week and a brilliant blurb too.

Tookey is an idiot. Mark Kermode gave a great review of Four Lions.

Tookey IS an idiot. I think that's something all the RAtz can get behind.

My husband loaded my laptop with movies which I watch while my relatives enjoy TV in French.

I saw three great movies this week. Bright Star, about the life and romance of John Keats, Nowhere Boy, about John Lennon before the Beatles, and The Informant.

Just watched Iron Man 2. Fast paced, lots of effects, not as good as the first one IMO, but still very watchable.
