CJ, I think that courage/bravery can go either way as far as saving or exacerbating a situation goes, as courage/bravery does not necessarily equate with control of a situation. It's not like the movies where the (super)hero saves the day because it's all scripted to fall into place. IRL all sorts of factors outside any one person's control come into it and the scenario is ad libbed.
