Second day he's been doing the 'I'm nothing but sincere and honest' thing and to me this makes him more and more suspicious. He's been the one fishing for who the special role people are, trying to get them to out themselves, leading to the disaster of the last couple of hours.

I think the "disaster of the last couple of hours" is mostly explained by incompetence.

Yes, it just seems as though a mad rush of people came out before realizing the consequences. Well, let's just say one too many people. But Durro makes a point with his cup and ball trick.

Each mafia game starts with a clean slate and is not related to the previous game. You could be ANY role and I have no way of knowing. And given my track record in this game so far, I wouldn't rely on my opinion anyhow.

Durro if you are not up for lynching then I might investigate you But I might investigate one of the quieter ones .. You just seem to be making FAR to much noise and you are such an obvious choice for me to question that you are the obvious choice for role changer or blocking ect of my powers and that would not only not help your case but would cast suspicion on me .

Here's a little secret. Just between us.

I'm an INTJ personality with a very keen sense of right and wrong. I really don't like having my integrity or honesty questioned and as much as I know it's part of the game, I sometimes forget it's only role playing and get a little defensive when people make false accusations against me (even though I've been guilty of the same by fucking up with Virphen). It's a personality quirk that's hard to shake off. I'll try harder.

As for strategy, it would be best if you investigated someone else probably - if' I'm guilty but show innocent or innocent and show innocent, then you've gained nothing. But you might stumble across a guilty player that shows up guilty, so go for them.

But the cups and ball thing is a way to save the situation.

Twinkle needs to say that she's protecting herself and Lion. Feck. No, lion. Maybe Feck. Maybe a double bluff and protect BOTH and not herself. Or maybe...

Then the bad guys have a 2/3 chance of trying to whack someone protected and that's not good odds for a hit. It's likely to result in a wasted hit and an innocent surviving. They really should leave all 3 innocent special players alone.

Then tomorrow, Twinkie can say that she protected...one of them. Maybe 2 of them. Maybe none and she was bluffing all along and is not protecting any of them. If she can't protect someone more than two nights in a row, she'll have to continue the shell game with that aspect. Or she could be somewhat misleading about how often she can protect players and the number of players. Fuck with the bad guys minds some more.

The bad guys are laughing at us tearing ourselves apart. I say it's time to fuck with them and get some payback.

Durro I know how it can irk to have your honesty questioned but please remember it is a game of that very nature ... and It will all be known by the end .

Even If I though someone was a deceitful lying devious bastard in the game It would have no effect of my view of them personally .I might even have a little respect for them if they won

As for the game .It had to be moved along suspicions were tearing the town apart to no purpose at least we have some actions now and intent will be easier to spot .

Also, let's not forget that there are still people who haven't come along much in this thread. I'm not sure how much I liked the idea of finger pointing at quiet players... but, there are still some players we haven't heard much from just yet: Blip, DP, owtth, etc. Though, I know that times probably have a lot to do with that.

And we still have a lot of time, 13 hours or so.


Also, I agree with Feck - the game's about tearing people down and then judging from there.
