Probably because they threaten to do violence to those who don't convert, or to those who stray from their faith. I watched a video featuring Richard Dawkins interviewing a Muslim. This Muslim guy was a complete dick. He was narrow minded (which is par for the course when you're dealing with most religious people), and very menacing. If his attitude is reflective of most Muslims then we should be very concerned, to say the least. Anyone, in the face of such threats, would feign belief. There are probably a lot of people out there who do just that. Who could blame them:
