What are you playing now?
Re: What are you playing now?
It's an inferior BG 2.

Re: What are you playing now?
Stop now. Seriously, you'll regret it.
Especially when they get to the laughing scene... *shudder*

Sort of Ice wind Dale but with better graphics and more interactions both amongst your party and with plot characters .. If I get stuck I will hate it !!!Paco wrote:What other RPGs would you compare it to?Feck wrote:Dragon Age origins .....

Re: What are you playing now?
It's probably the best of the next-gen RPGs, but it's still not that great of a game. There's just too much missing.

You wont. The puzzles are far too easy, I did enjoy the combat though.Feck wrote:Sort of Ice wind Dale but with better graphics and more interactions both amongst your party and with plot characters .. He's not joking, FFX is just fucking dull, get FFXII though, it takes a bit to get good but ends up great. I started the newest one last week and despite having played and completed almost every one before it i'm actuall finding it quite difficult.SamanthaJane wrote:Ohhhh interesting ... now I have to go and play!

Re: What are you playing now?
I loved FFXII. I've tried a few of the others in the series but they didn't do anything for me. FFXII, though, had a great story and great set of lead characters. Most of the characters in the new game, on the other hand, look bland and uninteresting to me however
I'll still give it a try, of course.
What am I playing now?
I wish I could say I was playing The Last Guardian
But the release date has been pushed out to November or December

People think "queue" is just "q" followed by 4 silent letters.
But those letters are not silent.
They're just waiting their turn.

Heroes over Europe.
The graphics are not great but the missions are quite a challenge.

Borderlands.
A mix of FPS and RPG, not bad so far. Clever use of cartoon strip graphics and very good "atmosphere".

Until, of course, you realise that every quest is "go to point A and collect/drop off/kill X" then return.AshtonBlack wrote:Borderlands.

It does get quite repetitive... but it's an interesting and fun game to play until you reach the point where make that realisation and turn it off.born-again-atheist wrote:Until, of course, you realise that every quest is "go to point A and collect/drop off/kill X" then return.AshtonBlack wrote:Borderlands.

Re: What are you playing now?
Doom 3 and Dynasty Warriors Empires 6.
Not easy to tell which is scarier, in all honesty. Doom stops being scary the third time the Imps (Dunno what they're called now, they were imps in the original doom) jump out of a vent. DW, however, gets hell scary when the boss your fighting can kill you in four hits and you spend most of your time one hit away from death just so you can use your Musou to attack without fear of getting hit.
