I'm going to stand down for the evening, but before I go, I want to apologize to all those who saw the photos I posted, and in particular FIO and TA, whose children were affected. I have to remember that such photos impact others more than me. I became desensitized to blood and gore as a hunter from childhood and in the 10 or more years I worked as a veterinary technician (and from a few other experiences) and I tend to forget how gruesome it all is. I assumed that if I spoilered them after a short time, everything would be OK. I was wrong. For that, please accept my apologies. I wish I could delete the whole fuck-up, but the arrow of time only goes one way, seems. Again, I'm very, very sorry for doing what I did.

Yes, most people don't know much about Islam, real or fake. I can say that whatever you say about Islam is not definitive.

Not me personally. I know what the Qu'ran says, and some of the Hadith, as well as some books I have read about Islam (including books written by proponents of Islam). I haven't seen much anti-Muslim media. In the US, most media bends over backwards to express how peace-loving and wonderful they think Muslims are. Actual events throughout the last 20 odd years have shown me, however, that Islam motivates a lot of people to do a lot of terrible, terrible things.

He assumed that her silence was consent. She never said "yes".
About 3 years later, he consummated the marriage. IOW, he had sex with a 9 year old girl. This was prior to her first menstruation, so she was still a child even by Islamic law (That's my understanding, so I'm open to correction).
