Next time, count the number of hub-caps lost during the chase scene. :hehe:

I just watched The Adventures of Baron Munchausen. It was a decent enough film. In parts wonderfully absurd and cheerfully witty, in others totally imaginative and fanciful and at other times a bit dull but it always remained charmingly English and inappropriately politically incorrect.

Plus; A nubile Uma Thurman as Venus

The Cook, the Thief, His Wife & Her Lover.

I thought Michael Gambon was great in this film.

Just finished watching The Men Who Stare At Goats, thought it was pretty good, a bit strange and it's based around a true story which makes it even stranger.

Just watched The Book of Eli, it was pretty good, started a little slow there was no dialogue for the first fifteen minutes but then the action picked up, the twist ending I did not see coming either.

A Prophet. Fucking brilliant, French prison drama. Ultra realistic, entertaining, occasionally gruesome, occasionally touching. The story of a helpless young offender's transformation into... well watch the film and find out. If subtitles don't put you off (or you speak French, Arabic and Corsican!) you will love it.

Top film. My favourite from last year along with Antichrist. I did write about it here but it went unnoticed :hehe:
I should have put it in this thread.

No I have not.
An Arabian guy at the aeroport:
- Name?
- Ahmed al-Rhazib.
- Sex?
- Three to five times a week.
- No, no… I mean male or female?
- Male, female, sometimes camel.
- Holy cow!
- Yes, cow, sheep, animals in general.
- But isn’t that hostile?
- Horse style, doggy style, any style!
- Oh dear!
- No, no! Deer run too fast.
