Do you hate Islam ?

hi everyone

I am a new muslim because I converted recently. I was ignorant and when it was removed, I saw the beauty of this faith. Its so clear and simple.
But, before converting, I also used to hate Islam. Like other people, I thought all muslims were terrorists who want to blow us all up, and all other usual stuff that was anti-islam.

But this is not about me. I want to ask you a basic question:

What is your reason for not liking muslims. Why do you hate Islam? Just let it out, I want to hear you. If you have serious problem with muslims or islam then say so.
Give you reply and I will come back in a few days to check it all. Thank you in advance.

I don't hate Islam. It's only the militant fanatics (of any religion) that I hate. But I do think all religions are very silly.
My ex-brother-in-law was Turkish (well, he still is, I imagine) and a Muslim. He was one of the nicest guys I've ever met, very kind-hearted. But then again, he wasn't all that religious

Not, "Do you hate?" But 'Why do you hate"..... well I'm insulted.


See, here's the thing. There's no Muslim person I hate. There's some deeply unpleasant characters who claim to follow Islam, but do I hate them? No.
However, Islam the religion I can hate. Get that? I do not hate people, but I hate some "IDEAS." and I have every fucking right to do so.

Hate muslims as a group of people? No. I just wish they would wise up (as for all theists). I pity someone like you who (presumably as an adult with intact cognitive faculties) chooses to believe such silly crap, in contrast to those that were unfortunately indoctrinated as a child.

I do hate islam. I hate the very idea of a human being giving away their free-will and decision making process to something outside of themselves that they do not understand, and (more to the point) do not care to understand, that they merely 'believe'. I hate the concept of submission to a god, a religion, a creed, a cult, a fucking nonsense derived from wishful thinking and the wish for earthly power.

I hate every other religion equally.

I have no hatred at all for muslims. I have known many and been close friends with a few. I have drunk myself stupid with an Egyptian barman that was quite happy to sup brandy every night but made himself deliberately sick when he found he had accidentally eaten pork - what the fuck is that all about? I considered him a friend and had many interesting and constructive arguments with him.

We have one life. One chance to experience whatever there is to experience here. Why buy into a belief that restricts the very few choices we have? All religions are man-made and they are among the most hateful, despicable things that our species has ever invented.

Islam. Fuck it!

The subject you specified was "Do you hate islam?".

Yet your message seems to assume that we already do as the questions above were all biased on the negative-side anyway.

Muslims - I know quite a few, some of them live the life I wouldn't want too, Ignorant, Hedonistic and therefore do not stick to what their faith specifies yet out of pure arrogance think it is ok to preach...Well, then yes I do dislike then. But I guess most of them are reasonable.
