Re: Dune 2.0 Game Thread
I just took a peek at the scum thread. It's interesting to see how close I was to death.

Re: Dune 2.0 Game Thread
I only ever joke about banning people, except Pawiz, and Pappa that one time, and XC those two times, and Gawd that one time, and Bella that one time....irreligionist wrote:After my stuff-up with lynching Mantis last game, she could have been scum and I'd have let her get away with itheyzeus wrote:Okay, Irre, that was crazy! How did you manage to hit a baddie every time> I thought you were privy to information that we weren't! I'm surprised that only sifaka was guilty. Why did you want to deflect the guilt off Mantis and onto noncredo so badly? Was it just because of her more prominent role?![]()
I didn't have any extra info, I just had to watch the thread and get a feel for guilt/innocence. I did think sifaka was always tooooo quick to lament the fall of a good guy and spit on the bad guy, so she was on my list.
The whole noncred/MAT nearly did my head in yesterday. It just seemed to easy for the innocents to have two more able to come out of the woodwork. And the fact they didn't investigate someone other than 95theses seemed just too convenient.
DP, your downfall was being so knowledgeable about Dune, then not actually helping the team. If you'd stayed detached from the game, I'd never have gone for you as I'd have assumed you were just busy with your admin stuff. Please don't ban me
OK, I won't ban you.

The world is a thing of utter inordinate complexity and richness and strangeness that is absolutely awesome. I mean the idea that such complexity can arise not only out of such simplicity, but probably absolutely out of nothing, is the most fabulous extraordinary idea. And once you get some kind of inkling of how that might have happened, it's just wonderful. And . . . the opportunity to spend 70 or 80 years of your life in such a universe is time well spent as far as I am concerned.

I hope you liked your death scene. I had it written up as a lynch last night before Town went bonkers trying to lynch everybody at once.sifaka wrote:I can't believe I survived this long

I added the bit about Duncan Idaho stalking you on the sands this morning, since irreligionist put the kill in for you last night.

I was annoyed that Ksen saw through my attempted trickery in the peanut gallery, commenting to Ashton that the others we recruited had done better than him. I was hoping that would turn suspicion back onto the cleared players.oblivion wrote:I hope you liked your death scene. Yes, my death scene was very dignified, thank you. No stripping off my stillsuit!oblivion wrote:I hope you liked your death scene. I had it written up as a lynch last night before Town went bonkers trying to lynch everybody at once.sifaka wrote:I can't believe I survived this long![]()
Yesterday was bonkers! Did you write a death scene for everyone just in case?
Truth (for once), I felt so bad about the lying, especially to Mantis, that I couldn't even swallow my dinner last night! This game is twisted

I actually enjoyed lying to Mantis in the last game :twisted:sifaka wrote: Truth (for once), I felt so bad about the lying, especially to Mantis, that I couldn't even swallow my dinner last night! This game is twisted

I was the nephew and heir to the Baron Vladimir Harkonnen, did you expect anything less?virphen wrote:Trying to influence the game when you're dead?

Ksen defused it by figuring out that we couldn't kill and recruit though.irreligionist wrote:Heyzeus was thinking long and hard about ksen and me, after you posted that!

First of I got elected as Mayor (thanks to you!) and figured that was it, because I'd obviously be investigated. Didn't happen.
Then 95 Theses doesn't investigate me.
And then, MAT and noncredo decide to investigate 95Theses even though they thought I was the most suspicious!
Re: Dune 2.0 Game Thread
Well done good guys!
You were playing too dumb, and how on Earth did you get elected Mayor on day 1 again???
I just KNEW you were guilty!!!sifaka wrote:I can't believe I survived this long
