Re: Why do atheists trust science?
The physical laws will change unless we continue to sacrifice living beings to glorify our supreme deities. Even the aztecs an incas knew this, and they had been away from the Mediterranean area for several years before Jesus was born. Yet they kept the faith even if ours faltered, and that was our salvation because the sun came up in the morning.
Gravity works whether we believe in it or not. Sun comes up whether we believe in it or not. Universe exists. Life goes on. If you're praying for potatoes, you'd be better off grabbing a fucking hoe.

He is so cute. Don't you think? The way that he actually seems to make up real sentences (until you try reading them)? Ahhhhh. Bless.

A book is a version of the world. If you do not like it, ignore it; or offer your own version in return.

Outside the ordered universe is that amorphous blight of nethermost confusion which blasphemes and bubbles at the center of all infinity—the boundless daemon sultan Azathoth, whose name no lips dare speak aloud, and who gnaws hungrily in inconceivable, unlighted chambers beyond time and space amidst the muffled, maddening beating of vile drums and the thin monotonous whine of accursed flutes.
