Well, I see you have no reason for me being the most suspicious, just a "jump on the train" kind of thing. Sounds like something scum would do, ride the coat tails of the majority since it serves their purpose well. If you aren't scum, then you are certainly playing right into their hands, as are the rest of the townsfolk.Mantisdreamz wrote:sifaka wrote: Oh, and Mantis is a girl![]()

I was just willing to let Normal go on calling me a he it was kinda funny.
Anyway, I KNEW that that post relating to DP was going to cause me problems! When I posted that, I had been going through the whole thread, and I was highly suspicious of him and wanted to find a reason to bring him up. But then I found that post in which he pointed out Ghat, and I thought that was a bit odd, so then decided to put my suspicion aside.
I think that anyone who is going for Sifaka or myself right now seems the most suspicious. Those people know (the scum!!) who is innocent, and are trying to take advantage of the known innocents suspicions about us to turn the knowns against us!
I am Staban Tuek. You'll notice that Esmar Tuek (AshtonBlack) was a traitor and hence scum, but I am his son, with town and innocent.
I agree that the most suspicious person right now is noncredo.

Re: Dune 2.0 Game Thread
Okay, so I think there are two possibilities here:
Sifaka and Mantis are scum
or
Noncredo and MAT are scum
I have suspicions within our little group as well, to be honest. I'm not completely sure that one of the confirmed innocents wasn't recruited after being cleared by 95.

Please post some of your PMs, miss thrope and non credo. If you two are legit then all/most of the others are scum.

And do it quickly. The longer you wait, the more suspicious you seem.irreligionist wrote:Please post some of your PMs, miss thrope and non credo. If you two are legit then all/most of the others are scum.

Masons can PM each other.heyzeus wrote:Well, you're right, something about sifaka makes me uneasy. Although if I were an innocent mayor and I was about to get lynched, I would use my 1.5 voting power as well. By the way, PMing is against the rules in this game.
@Miss Ann Thrope and noncredo, were you told one another's alignments?
Re: Dune 2.0 Game Thread
Miss Anne Thrope wrote:Here are my thoughts. The ones we can be sure are innocent are irre, heyzeus, and ksen.
I can tell you that I have been able to PM noncredo throughout this game and that we are also both innocent, although I realise the other innocents can't be certain of this.
Assuming I am telling the truth, that leaves sifaka, Normal and Mantis as suspects. By far the most suspicious for me is sifaka. The other day when we almost lynched her, she comes and votes at the last moment with her 1.5 voting power (handy that,eh?) to save her skin, then comes up with some bullshit about not even realising she had that ability (how convenient). This, combined with her other activities throughout this game, is why I amvoting sifaka.
Miss Anne Thrope, this is not looking good for you at all. You only come here to muddy the waters.
Talking about bullshit:

Sorry if I didn't seem to be playing well, I just suck at strategy games.
I'm innocent!
Where exactly do you see me vote in this post?
Oh, sorry were you talking about this post?

Re: Dune 2.0 Game Thread
That's not true noncredo, I was suspicious of you before. And this post here - makes me think that perhaps you know that we are both innocent. And trying to divert suspicion onto the innocents.noncredo wrote: My list from most to least would have to be Mantis, Sifaka and from there everyone is equally suspicious save the ones we know are cleared. my reasons are the same as others I have already seen...Mantis tried to divert attention away from scum yesterday and sifaka tried to use an elected position as proof of innocence. Not really much to go on I know, but it is really all that I have right now.
And there was that post above about you being cautious, which okay maybe you are, but I don't know, it just sounded guilty ok!!
And the thing with Normal, is that he made a post yesterday that said my removing my post from Evil Spock was suspicious - which I can agree, does look like it. But, at that moment I thought that we were going to be looking into noncredo or MAT instead. So I thought I'd release the vote and have a clear slate to vote for one of the others. I didn't vote again because I figured she was going to voted out anyway, and also I felt like a bit of a tool for removing it in the first place.
But Normal did say something like I was trying to shift attention onto him, non and MAT. Why wouldn't I try to shift attention to especially MAT or noncredo, I thought it was those that were of suspicion to everyone.
I'm sorry if this post doesn't make sense, I'm in a bit of a rush at the moment.

heyzeus, why do you think either I or irre have been recruited?
If you look back at the time there was a recruit of AshtonBlack you'll see that the Hunter-Seeker wasn't used, night 1. Ever since then the Hunter-Seeker has been used which indicates to me anyway that scum recruited on night 1 and have NK'ed each night thereafter.

Re: Dune 2.0 Game Thread
If MAT and noncredo were masons, that would explain their silence. Still, it's been a while and they still haven't posted their PMs. This is not a decision we should take lightly. I believe today could make or break the game.
Re: Dune 2.0 Game Thread
Er, I didn't say "the Hunter-Seeker hasn't been used." I said the Hunter-Seeker wasn't used on Night 1.heyzeus wrote:I'm not sure what you mean by "the hunter-seeker hasn't been used."
I'll go find the posts:
Night 1 actions: Mephistopheles killed by reizling using a poisoned sword and reizling killed by Mephistopheles' chrysknife. No mention of a Hunter-Seeekr method of killing. And now we know AshtonBlack was recruited that night.
Night 2 actions: virphen killed by poisoned Hunter-Seeker needle and AshtonBlack killed by sword.
Night 3 actions: CookieJon killed by poisoned Hunter-Seeker needle and Ghatanoatha killed by sword.
Night 4 actions: 95Theses killed by poisoned Hunter-Seeker needle and DP killed by sword.
That says to me that the Hunter-Seeker is the scum kill method. So it is logical to think that when scum kill they cannot recruit. If they could do both the game would be terribly lopsided toward scum and it would be over already with a scum victory.

Re: Dune 2.0 Game Thread
We can't post PM's on the thread, according to the game rules. All I can do is give you an outline of what was discussed. The first ones were just confirming we could PM each other. We also agreed to keep quiet during the early part of the game to see how things panned out.
After that we briefly discussed CookieJon's and 95Theses claims about being the seer and the truthsayer, and how much they could be trusted.
Then CookieJon was killed, and one of us inherited his seer power, which is why I am not prepared to give my identity away. The rest of our PM's have been about who to investigate. Incidentally, we investigated 95Theses last night, but unfortunately he got killed, so it was rather a waste of time.
