I've said it twice already but here's a third time: I am town.

He's involved in the game and seems to have a handle on roles and Characters.heyzeus wrote:Why do you want to investigate Normal, 95Theses?
It's win/win. If I can show he is innocent that helps us as much as if I find he is guilty and we can lynch him.

I'm not sure I follow but fair enough, as long as you have a plan. I wonder why the vigilante (or whoever is killing the scum at night) is having such an easy time singling them out.

I think I could make some easy kills if I were vigilante. Some qualified guessing would be required, of course, but I've got a vague sense of outlinesheyzeus wrote:I'm not sure I follow but fair enough, as long as you have a plan. Well, whoever it is has been much better at singling out the guilty parties than our entire team. Do you have any ideas for targets or are we going for Evil Spock.
Re: Dune 2.0 Game Thread
Irre? Ksen?
Any input before I investigate?
I'm not going to be around all that much longer and once I go that will be it for this round.

No, the scales tip both ways. I don't want to single anyone out, and then it turns out they are innocent after all, and it was all based on my paranoia. That would be bad for town, and I would look guilty.heyzeus wrote:Well, whoever it is has been much better at singling out the guilty parties than our entire team. The Evil Spock clues look legit, so maybe go with that. I will decide when I wake up in the morning and see if there has been any development here

Well, the goal of this game for our team is to find and lynch the scum among us. I don't really think you would look guilty for singling out someone who turns out to be innocent. I wish people would be more vocal about such things. We have to lynch based on such tenuous evidence anyway so it would be silly of the accused to be offended that they were considered for suspicious behaviour. This game is all about paranoia. You can't trust anyone but yourself.

Ok, but I don't have quotes, or any solid evidence, or any of the sort. It's just a sort of feeling I've gotten after skimming the thread. I am now tired, and will suspect someone in public without backing it up.heyzeus wrote:Well, the goal of this game for our team is to find and lynch the scum among us. DP, sifaka, Miss Anne Thrope.
Now it is time for bed. If you find some dirt on anyone, or the mob finds a victim worthy of lynching I will cast my vote when I wake up in about 8 hours.
(And the thing about making easy kills may have been a big exaggeration on my part.)

Re: Dune 2.0 Game Thread
One little thing before I go. Feel free to check me out. It is win-win. But if you read through my posts, I think all of them show concern for town safety and fear for the evil-doers. And I think it shows me as innocent. I'd try to check out one of my suspects, just to make clear where we stand with them.
I know DP has been quite helpful in ways, so I'm not sure he should be among my suspects. But he still is (this coming just from a hunch).

I have to say, I also have suspicions about the people you mentioned. No doubt at least one of them is Harkkonen. I think they would all be a much better use of your time to check out.
