Aren't the rules typically scum win when they outnumber town, though? Either there aren't that many scum to begin with, or the next death might end the game.Animavore wrote:Well at least you can be safe in the comfort that so many town are dead at this stage that the odds are in favour of the next person you randomly lynch being scum.
Of course you're so narrowed down now that the scum are also likely to hit a person with special powers now.

I can't say I'm optimistic about the outcome of this game.Mephistopheles wrote:Aren't the rules typically scum win when they outnumber town, though? I'm just reading over the first pages of the thread now and I found this freaking hilarious:
This was the vote that caused everyone to get on the bandwagon and elect sifaka. Democracy works!

But then you yourself have been killed for acting extremely suspiciously despite being innocent, and confusing things in a game thread so badly that people felt even if you were innocent your death would be not much of a loss.CookieJon wrote:I didn't!Mephistopheles wrote:Oh shush. If people were confused by my shock and awe tactics that's their problem not mine. I sure a few people at the beginning who jumped on the "lynch Ani" bandwagon at the beginning were scum. You just have to go back there and figure out who they were.virphen wrote:But then you yourself have been killed for acting extremely suspiciously despite being innocent, and confusing things in a game thread so badly that people felt even if you were innocent your death would be not much of a loss.CookieJon wrote:I didn't!Mephistopheles wrote:Oh shush. The world is a thing of utter inordinate complexity and richness and strangeness that is absolutely awesome. I mean the idea that such complexity can arise not only out of such simplicity, but probably absolutely out of nothing, is the most fabulous extraordinary idea. And once you get some kind of inkling of how that might have happened, it's just wonderful. And . . . the opportunity to spend 70 or 80 years of your life in such a universe is time well spent as far as I am concerned.

Fucksocks

Outside the ordered universe is that amorphous blight of nethermost confusion which blasphemes and bubbles at the center of all infinity—the boundless daemon sultan Azathoth, whose name no lips dare speak aloud, and who gnaws hungrily in inconceivable, unlighted chambers beyond time and space amidst the muffled, maddening beating of vile drums and the thin monotonous whine of accursed flutes.
