What is there to gain by me telling you my target for last night? I have already got Virphen killed and myself blocked by revealing too much on this thread, and I don't want to keep blabbing.ksen wrote:Sure there is. Why are you reluctant to say your target from last night?CookieJon wrote:I don't think there's any point in saying who I actually tried to investigate,
Why are you so interested to know who I want to investigate???

Why are we voting Ani? I don't suspect him at all.. what have we got against him? There are far more suspicious characters amongst us.
Re: Dune 2.0 Game Thread
I'd like to know who you targeted and why because as of right now we have nothing but your say so that you are the seer. Comparing potential views could be helpful to Town.CookieJon wrote:Why are you so interested to know who I want to investigate???
Most likely you are dead tonight. If you're not there will probably be a different discussion tomorrow. Keeping information from Town can only hurt Town.
Re: Dune 2.0 Game Thread
Also, when does 95Theses get the results of his truthsaying investigation? Is it before the end of the day round?

Yeah. Like heyzues.CookieJon wrote:Why are we voting Ani? I don't suspect him at all.. what have we got against him? There are far more suspicious characters amongst us.

Re: Dune 2.0 Game Thread
cookiejon, you have already blabbed your role... so if you are legit then your days are probably numbered. I fail to see why you shouldn't reveal who you were going to view last night.
I'm thinking 95theses should test ksen for truth, as ksen would be valuable for town if s/he is cleared.

Except that nobody has contradicted my claim.ksen wrote:I'd like to know who you targeted and why because as of right now we have nothing but your say so that you are the seer.CookieJon wrote:Why are you so interested to know who I want to investigate???
How, exactly?Comparing potential views could be helpful to Town.
The corollary of course is that giving information to scum can only help scum. Most likely you are dead tonight. If you're not there will probably be a different discussion tomorrow. Keeping information from Town can only hurt Town.

I've already said why I'm voting Ani.CookieJon wrote:Why are we voting Ani? I don't suspect him at all.. what have we got against him? There are far more suspicious characters amongst us.
I'm voting her because I think there is a good chance it will result in her "husband" dying as well and if we can sacrifice one Town to get one Scum then that's a good trade for Town to make.
Re: Dune 2.0 Game Thread
Actually it's the other way around. I care about him more than he does meksen wrote:I've already said why I'm voting Ani.CookieJon wrote:Why are we voting Ani? I don't suspect him at all.. what have we got against him? There are far more suspicious characters amongst us.

Re: Dune 2.0 Game Thread
Which doesn't mean anything. If you are not really the seer there has been no reason for the real seer to out yet. Scum false-claiming seer is a pretty transparent effort to get the real seer to out. But if you are the real seer then there really should be nothing stopping you from telling Town who you were trying to view.CookieJon wrote:Except that nobody has contradicted my claim.ksen wrote:I'd like to know who you targeted and why because as of right now we have nothing but your say so that you are the seer.CookieJon wrote:Why are you so interested to know who I want to investigate???
It'll help us evaluate if you are truly the seer. It could even give the lie-detector another statement to test to see if you are telling the truth. How, exactly?Comparing potential views could be helpful to Town.
I don't think you are understanding that Scum already have information Town doesn't have. The corollary of course is that giving information to scum can only help scum. Most likely you are dead tonight. If you're not there will probably be a different discussion tomorrow. Keeping information from Town can only hurt Town.
Please explain what possible benefit knowing who you were thinking of viewing can help Scum more than it could help Town.

cookiejon you are appearing highly suspicious... ksen's logic is fine, your avoiding the question is dodgy... why come out and shout to the world you are a seer then try to muddy the waters?
