In the interest of protecting those with special roles, don't reveal whether or not you have one unless it's absolutely necessary. Remember, if you reveal you're not a key player, you're just helping the Harkkonen narrow down their list of targets.

Probably another inactive player (one that we don't lynch). 95Theses and Animavore are in the clear unless someone else shows up claiming to be the doc's wife.

Yeah, but the "doc's wife"? He could have just made up that role, and nobody would be any the wiser.

I think I will investigate Animavore tonight, just to be sure. He's been acting mighty suspicious, and making up a role sounds like the sort of thing he'd do.

EDIT: Oh, and why Virphen? Well, there were several people making a big hoo-hah yesterday in the public thread (yourself & ani included). I decided to go for someone slightly less vocal, since there was a chance the noisy ones would give information away anyway, and I was saving my ability for someone less vocal, but also someone who I had played with before in case we needed to form alliances.

What alliances? It all has to play in the public thread, no? And what would any of the 'noisy' (my posting was confined to trying to avoid being the target of a lynching) people give info away? What info? Presumably you just posted everything. Question is: why did you put yourself 'out there' ? Virphen was under no cloud of suspicion, and he has claimed no special role.

I haven't read Dune so I don't know if that's an actual character or not. If it isn't, that is certainly suspicious.

The doctors wife in Dune is indeed a Bene Gesserit named Wanna, she was captured by the Harkonnen to break the conditioning of her husband Dr. Wellington Yeuh, doctor to house Atriedes, the Baron Harkonnen then had the doctor betray the Atriedes and the Dr. was responsible for the death of Duke Leto Atriedes.

And for 95theses, I share the bloodline of Paul Atriedes.

You twat. Wanna is held hostage by the Baron. I don't know if the doctor is loyal or traitor to be honest and I think this is why I can't contact him and why he does not know me but I am innocent. I am also to kill myself if the doctor dies so broken will be my heart so it will be 2 for 1 of the scum kill him.

Oh I don't know - I thought that since there was a big back and forth between you and Ani something might emerge, so I'd be better off using my investigation on someone else.

I hesitated before revealing my role, but since this is a public game, I'd have to out myself sooner or later so it might as well have been sooner.

If you don't trust me, then either wait for the Scum to kill me, or get 95 to waste his investigation on me. I'd have thought the fact nobody else is claiming to be Jessica would be proof enough. (Jessica being a major character, btw)

Go for one of those three. None of them are the doctor. Lynching the Dr. means I'm gone too so even though I won't out him unless he I find out he is disloyal I'll try keep you off him.
