I am a refugee from RDF, and I also hail from Texas. Yes, there is a boat load of loonies here in Texas, but I am not one of them
Cheers

Hey Rum, thanks for the welcom. I have been to the Alamo once, I am from Houston, not San Antonio.Rum wrote:Hello and welcome! Nice to have you with us. Do you remember the Alamo?
Hey FBM,FBM wrote:Cool! Texans love le bacon! You'll fit right in here.
If you like, tell us a little about yourself. For example, how/why you became an atheist (assuming you are), your favorite pizza topping (assuming it's bacon) and your position on eating babies (assuming you have one).
Brilliant idea about the date. Genius.saggrock wrote:Hey FBM,FBM wrote:Cool! Texans love le bacon! You'll fit right in here.

I consider myself a lifelong Atheist, as a child going to church with my parents, I remember thinking to myself that all those stories they told me in Sunday school sounded too far fetched, or just plain bullshit.
My favorite pizza topping is Italian sausage. I do like grilled Bacon wrapped shrimp with a side of bacon wrapped bacon!Since I am from Texas, I do prefer my babies slowlly Bar-B-Qued, not grilled with a little Lawrey's Seasoned Salt and some Lemon Pepper, meat just falls off the bone.

I have been happily married for nine years this St. Patricks day (my wife let me pick the date, I picked St. Patty's day because about a week before, the beer companies start advertising for St. Patty's day, therefore I don't forget my anneversary)
I do love to fish and drink, sometimes both at the same time
Oh, and, I believe American beer is just like making love in a canoe, they are both fucking close to water!
