You were a unscrupulous little despot, Ronayne, and you're not fooling anyone. You would permanently ban posters from the forum simply because you personally didn't like them. You were a recurring and unrepentant bully, who took visible pleasure in laying down one petty dictum after another. Set against you, Josh Timonen -- on a bad day -- comes off as a Jainist hippie on ecstasy, who just won the national lottery (on a rollover weekend).

I posted under the username "JayD". You subjected my post history to electron-microscopic scrutiny, and unsurprisingly were able to locate several posts that could somehow be construed as constituting personal attacks. Exceedingly devious, Stalinesque techniques were utilized to cover up all complaints I put forward (together with general dissent concerning the way you ran the forum).

Yes, as did almost everyone else on the opposing side. You didn't seem to care.

The "offences" in question, by the way, didn't include racism or homophobia or spamming, or anything that you might think should warrant a permanent ban. I was merely using strong language. I might have used a word like "stupid", or something of the same intensity, on about five separate occasions. (As did many others posters.) That was enough to warrant a permanent banning.

I have no objection to civility, in fact civility is the norm on this forum. I am generally not an antagonistic fellow, but I will not sit idly by and watch absolute drivel be passed off as reasonable discourse by jumped up, wannabe intellectuals like you who can barely put a cogent sentence together, my fellow posters deserve more than to be treated like moronic chattel.
