You were a unscrupulous little despot, Ronayne, and you're not fooling anyone. You would permanently ban posters from the forum simply because you personally didn't like them. You were a recurring and unrepentant bully, who took visible pleasure in laying down one petty dictum after another. Set against you, Josh Timonen -- on a bad day -- comes off as a Jainist hippie on ecstasy, who just won the national lottery (on a rollover weekend).

I posted under the username "JayD". You subjected my post history to electron-microscopic scrutiny, and unsurprisingly were able to locate several posts that could somehow be construed as constituting personal attacks. Exceedingly devious, Stalinesque techniques were utilized to cover up all complaints I put forward (together with general dissent concerning the way you ran the forum).

I would like to add wanker please.

Could we possibly split off the derails from this thread? I know it's a form of light relief and all from all this drama, but this is in 'serious stuff', and it feels a mite out of place... :ask:
Then they for sudden joy did weep,
And I for sorrow sung,
That such a king should play bo-peep,
And go the fools among.
Prithee, nuncle, keep a schoolmaster that can teach
thy fool to lie: I would fain learn to lie.

AWESOME!
What is cyber-genocide?

How hilarious!

You removed my post from this thread, transferring it to some obscure place where even if it is read at all, the context will no longer be apparent.

This dirty little trick was garden variety stuff back when Kevin Ronayne (who posts here under the username KLR) was administrator of the RDF forums.
Ah, so you do know who I am here. That makes your behaviour even worse. FYI, I was off-line for the past few hours, so don't even think of attributing anything that has happened here to me.

Ah yes, now I remember you. See how it's much easier when you play honest? Part of the great Philosophy rumble IIRC. You committed quite a range of offences as I recall.

Anyway, I'm not going to respond to your foul-mouthed tirade, but I suspect the staff here aren't going to be so passive.

If you wish to engage people with intelligence above that of pond scum you really need to consider how to string a few words together. It's not that difficult but it may actually be beyond you.
The subtlety is lost on you, I see. I don't like explaining my jokes, but here goes. "Hermeneutic recapitulation" was a play on words, satirizing the tendency of theologians to prefix any word with "Hermeneutic" or some variant. As for "cyber-genocide" -- well, I think that speaks for itself.

Somehow, subtlety (note the correct spelling please) is not a word that spring to mind when reading your posts here. :coffee:

I'll name that tune in four.
The Hell Law says that Hell is reserved exclusively for them that
believe in it. Further, the lowest Rung in Hell is reserved for them that
believe in it on the supposition that they'll go there if they don't.

Yes, as did almost everyone else on the opposing side. You didn't seem to care.

The "offences" in question, by the way, didn't include racism or homophobia or spamming, or anything that you might think should warrant a permanent ban. I was merely using strong language. I might have used a word like "stupid", or something of the same intensity, on about five separate occasions. (As did many others posters.) That was enough to warrant a permanent banning.

AWESOME!
I have no objection to civility, in fact civility is the norm on this forum. I am generally not an antagonistic fellow, but I will not sit idly by and watch absolute drivel be passed off as reasonable discourse by jumped up, wannabe intellectuals like you who can barely put a cogent sentence together, my fellow posters deserve more than to be treated like moronic chattel. If you think this should not be the case then please, by all means enlighten us as to why this should not be the case, you fucking tit.
At least I'm housebroken.
