Seriously?

I mean come on!

Who taught you to write, a fucking rock?

If you wish to engage people with intelligence above that of pond scum you really need to consider how to string a few words together. It's not that difficult but it may actually be beyond you.
 Right on. I was thinking exactly that but decided not to say it for some reason.. I guess I'm too nice.

So, to sum up again: Any attempt to impose a certain level of civility on a forum is not only equal to the recent actions of the admins at RD, but is the equivalent of cyber-genocide.

AWESOME!

And to pre-empt the obvious: Most ex-RD.net people here know full well who I am, despite my change of user name. A search of my post history will show me openly acknowledging who I am as early as my second post, almost a year ago. There are numerous references by other posters to my real name here as well.
I don't have the slightest clue who you are.. but I took an extended leave of absence from RD.net for a while.. were you a moderator for a short period?

I think that it has something to do with not being allowed to call other people dickheads, and getting a post removed when you do so.

You were a unscrupulous little despot, Ronayne, and you're not fooling anyone. You would permanently ban posters from the forum simply because you personally didn't like them. You were a recurring and unrepentant bully, who took visible pleasure in laying down one petty dictum after another. Set against you, Josh Timonen -- on a bad day -- comes off as a Jainist hippie on ecstasy, who just won the national lottery (on a rollover weekend).

I posted under the username "JayD". You subjected my post history to electron-microscopic scrutiny, and unsurprisingly were able to locate several posts that could somehow be construed as constituting personal attacks. Exceedingly devious, Stalinesque techniques were utilized to cover up all complaints I put forward (together with general dissent concerning the way you ran the forum).

I am shocked, shocked, to think that posts of yours could be construed as attacking anyone.
