Let us think the unthinkable, let us do the undoable, let us prepare to grapple with the ineffable itself, and see if we may not eff it after all. -Douglas Adams
Re: In Praise of Josh Timonen
In my opinion, this whole RDF forum fiasco is nothing more or less than a case of hermeneutic recapitulation of the Great Flood. The principal difference, which I confess I find troubling, is that here the sinners haven't exactly all been wiped out. Josh Timonen's skills in the art of cyber genocide could do with some improvement.

The fascists, it seems, have finally got a taste of their own bitter medicine.

The "play nice" rule applies only to forum members, just as it did back at RD.net - a point which seems to have escaped both yourself and Richard Dawkins. I am a member here, Josh Timonen is not. Neither is Richard Dawkins. In point of fact, I am not going to go feral on them even though they are not members here.
Seeing as your username is not familiar to me, I wonder if you are not by any chance using a different name to that which you used on RD.net? I believe Richard Dawkins had some things to say about people using a cloak of anonymity on the internet ...

See: eated but not deleted, swallowed, and now regurgitated as a slightly more palatable thing than when it was first eated.

If you wish to engage people with intelligence above that of pond scum you really need to consider how to string a few words together. It's not that difficult but it may actually be beyond you.
At least I'm housebroken.

I'll be interested to see if our friend comes back and has the honesty to at least identify himself.
And to pre-empt the obvious: Most ex-RD.net people here know full well who I am, despite my change of user name. A search of my post history will show me openly acknowledging who I am as early as my second post, almost a year ago. There are numerous references by other posters to my real name here as well.

Who ate all the posts? who ate all the posts? You fat bastard, you fat bastard, YOU ate all the posts.
Outside the ordered universe is that amorphous blight of nethermost confusion which blasphemes and bubbles at the center of all infinity—the boundless daemon sultan Azathoth, whose name no lips dare speak aloud, and who gnaws hungrily in inconceivable, unlighted chambers beyond time and space amidst the muffled, maddening beating of vile drums and the thin monotonous whine of accursed flutes.
