This country is slithery, and its government is seditious to the great democratic cause of republicanism. I feel betrayed by its institutions and isolated by the average citizen. I can't identify myself with being British, I'd sooner see myself as a member of a large international community. In other words, I want to be a citizen of the world. Britian does not permit me this. I've never felt so alone in England, and despite my familiarity with other nationals on this forum: I'd sooner see a fellow Englishman see the error of his monarch's ways. To be less vague, I'd be proactive in the Irish republican cause if it meant appreciation and a sense of real solidarity. The RIRA aren't an ideal form of rebellion, or republican group, but they're the only ones active. New ones could be encouraged to arise, but this damnable place hasn't the political will for anything other than an independent enquiry.
I don't think any Irishman here will share my sentiment, but whatever. I don't think Ireland needs a return to The Troubles, and it's a shame if the RIRA continue in their persistence there. But if they were to bring the fight to England...I wouldn't complain.
Now shout at me
