Hi all,
I found my myself here while trying to find out what's happening at RDF, I do seem to recoqnise quite a few usernames here.
I hope it's not all atheists here (I'm very much one myself), but the thing about RD.net was that it did seem attract a few sometimes weird theists, which is what I did like about it, do theists come here? I'm sure I'll find out.

I distrust those people who know so well what God wants them to do, because I notice it always coincides with their own desires.

Very welcome, and hope you enjoy!
We do not seem to attract many theists, so I think there's definitely going to be less of that here. Someone said they were particularly drawn to the RD.net forum because of the brand name Evil Dawkins, and went there to make a stand where they thought they'd find the worst atheists and save them.
We have not got a reputation, and are not (I think) known as a target for hard core theists. I don't see how there is going to be a big rush of them, but it would be fun to have some of the maniacs in.

Let us think the unthinkable, let us do the undoable, let us prepare to grapple with the ineffable itself, and see if we may not eff it after all.

I've been known to post on a fundie forum when they were thin on the ground at RD.net, It's a bit like fishing sometimes you do need the right bait and Richard Dawkins name certainly lures them in.

Welcome

It's a piece of piss to be cowiz, but it's not cowiz to be a piece of piss. Or something like that.

We have Jerome. I wouldn't call him weird, but to be fair he does have an imaginary friend.

Having just read Dawkins new post, it's all quite sad really, but it's good to see the many robust replies from many here via P Z Meyers, the message is at least getting through.

Perhaps the fundies will pick up on where we have gone and decide to follow?
Friar Barnadine: Thou has committed--
Barabas: Fornication! But what was in another country; and besides, the wench is dead.
