For the full story check Peter Harrison's blog, he has a nice account of the whole thing: http://realityismyreligion.wordpress.com

PS. Looking for a blogger template: 3 columns, dark, something on the gothic vampire side, not very intricate but elegant. If anyone knows of a template like the above PM me. Thanks.

If Josh T had any respect for other life forms then why is there no obvious sign up saying that the RD.net forum is closed?
It seems that people are still joining up from the new usernames appearing in the “newest members”.

I distrust those people who know so well what God wants them to do, because I notice it always coincides with their own desires.

They have to do that to allow people to post on the Front Page. They should still add some sort of a notice though.NoDayJob wrote:If Josh T had any respect for other life forms then why is there no obvious sign up saying that the RD.net forum is closed?

Might it be possible to start a subsection for mocking and destroying fundies who post elsewhere? Locked to members only, so it wouldn't attract board wars, that is. That way we'd have an outlet for the urge to explain exactly what's wrong with those people without getting into the endless trollish engagements.JimC wrote:
We have never been big on attracting then debating fundies, and my personal preference is to leave that side of things to somewhere else...
But there will indeed be debate and discussion, and I am certain that we can think our way to an optimal future...
