I'm telling you, some of Richard's posts were deleted. Yeah, he had 448 posts. I know this for a fact. I didn't want to give an exact number right away, because I thought it would sound creepy that I remembered it. But I do. I have a memory for numbers like a steel trap. 12 of his posts were deleted. So were close to a hundred of mine. My guess is that certain threads were deleted and with them were some of my posts, Richard's posts, and other people's posts.

Is there an ignore function here, because I think my posts aren't making it.
6 major accounts have been deleted. Wiped clean. All threads they started, must have disappeared too, along with everyones reactions to those threads. Maybe RD reacted in those threads and those reactions have disappeared from his react-count.

No. Threads I have started are still there but the OP is gone and all my responses. Of course there are quite a few posts where I have been quoted. I am a ghost in the machine

I'm aware of this, but I am just saying in the process some of Richard's posts have been deleted too.

so glad to see so many familiar posters here.

my sense of injustice has been hit by a sledgehammer but i always feel that where's there's a will there's a way and you guys have proved that.

i too sent a pm to dickie dawkins. it's been opened (i doubt read) and so far i'm still a member there.

i was most concerned to have read a vigilante style blog by gavin orland (the guy who coordinated the pledge on radio 4's "thought for the day"). i see nastelrox has posted the link on another thread.
i saw this yesterday morning and the picture came more into focus for me. this guy's profile has been increasing since his campaign was effective in changing the beeb's policy.
imo his blog is self important and morally didactic but i guess his opinion may carry some weight. i left a comment for him but he replied with further invective against the forum based on his limited view of it. i posted peter harrison's enlightening blog for him to digest but maybe a few further reasoned responses may be helpful.

i am afraid i believe richard dawkins has been totally involved in this. he has simply turned a blind eye while his inept teenage henchman dizzy with power did what was necessary. a terrible shame. it could have been handled so differently.

anyway onwards and upwards. a big hello to everyone!
