So, for noobs, I'm a liverpool fan.

I've come to hate the money in football. Man City and Chelsea and Man U are everything that is wrong with the game. Everyone is hoping for some stupid Arab billionaire to come and bail them out. There aren't that many moronic billionaires out there, ask Pompey. It's going to take at least one big club going under before things change, and if that's Liverpool I'll cope. So I hope Liverpool don't get 4th, and things change.

It's FIFA, UEFA and the FA's fault that money runs football nowadays. The existence of the Champions League ruined any competitiveness the PL ever had, because of a huge disparity in what the top 4 clubs earn compared to everyone else. And allowing the PL to break away from the rest of English football and sell their TV rights separately has been responsible for destroying more clubs than all of the irresponsible chairmen combined. It's impossible to compete in the PL and budget for possible relegation at the same time. And none of this has anything to do with Man City or Chelsea. It was the likes of Liverpool, Man Utd, and the rest of the G-14 clubs that effectively blackmailed the organisers into shaping football purely around the rich clubs at the top of the game. They were all in favour of this free market while it favoured them, but the second a couple of people who are richer than them all combined decided to take advantage, they all threw their toys out of the pram. Now they're all wanting a cap that's directly linked to a clubs income as another way of making sure none of these young upstarts ever threaten their dominance.

How can you support a list? Choose a team and stick to it, gubnubbit! :lay:

Nottingham Forest through victory and defeat. (Usually defeat these days but if you are a real fan, you don't pick your team, your team picks YOU!)
Arsenal, "gubnubbit"! And supporting both Man U and Rangers won't win you many friends if you ever visit Norn Iron. And yes we are having a bloody terrible season(s). We're only 3rd because Man U and Chelsea keep obligingly dropping the ball. And we've got the 2 worst goalkeepers in the Prem'ship. But hey:
Arsenal!
Cheers

Hi Damian. I suppose you know that your team only wears red because Forest lent you a full set of kits when you first formed?

I certainly do. And it's one reason I'm hoping Forest make it back up for next season :td: .

Not arguing with any of this, and like I say, if it takes Liverpool going out of business to change things, I'll cope.

The Asian Champions League (Yes the AFC copied it from UEFA right down to the format sans an UEFA Cup competition) is on again and my local team Adelaide United is in it.

They beat the pohang steelers 1-0 you think the diving and acting is bad in Europe you should try watching Asian football. The Pohang players were diving and acting like they were shot all night and according the worst culprit copped heaps of abuse of which they thoroughly deserved.

But hey the team that played honest football won the day. :woot:

YOU REDS!!!!

Which is probably why she went unnoticed among a crowd of Christians.
