Hallo

Post by nellikin » Tue Feb 23, 2010 10:26 pm

Hallo everybody,

Seems like I'm another RDF refugee, who was luckily informed of this site. I only just introduced myself the other day at RDF but will have another go here. I'm a PhD student in Newcastle, Oz, doing Environmental engineering, really into soils and sustainability. My family is now 3rd generation atheist (my grandparents luckily saw the light) and my kids are being raised as enlightened beings, too (so that makes 4 generations :shiver: ). I'm mainly here in the hope of finding as many fun threads to participate in as possible. Don't really need to convince anybody of my beliefs, although I will staunchly defend them if the topic comes up. Nothing short of a miracle would be able to convert me either.

Anyway, I look forward to many fun times on this site.

Cheers
Nellikin

Hi Nellikin!

Soils, hey? Fickle Fiend is doing a thesis on sodding (unless I misunderstood). Maybe you too would have something in common? :eddy:
I used to be an atheist. Then I realised I was god.

Howdy, Nellikin! Soils, eh? 8-) Dig on in and compost whatever you feel like. No doubt you'll run into a couple of sods, but you can wash your hands of them easily enough.

Hi, and welcome Nellikin.

What sort of a miracle would do it? Like Geaorge Bush gets a Phd sort? :hehe:

My brother can levitate when he farts, and I've got a few card tricks? :shiver:

Oh, nothing that special. Maybe if god appeared in front of me and smote someone, I'd be converted.
