I just tried to change my avatar [with your http://www.rationalia.com jpg] over at (once was) RDF's and got this:

The upload was rejected because the uploaded file was identified as a possible attack vector.

PM's are actually still working BUT ... as far as I can tell, you can only send to one recipient and the time between sending must be 30mins or an hour.

I've managed to send two PMs in the last 2hrs.

Also the 'smilies' have been removed ... WHY? ... poor little smilies

It's good to see so many familiar usernames. Glad so many are finding this place. Even if you decide rationalia isn't for you, you can at least reconnect with some of the former RDF folks.

I always thought that the best topics were the ones where some lousy theist would come along and attack Dawkins for being militant and make stupid claims about the God Delusion. They were good threads because the result was many members explaining that simply saying that you don't believe is not offensive and that there is a big difference between fundamentalism and passion. I think that those threads were very educational. I sincerely doubt that those types of threads will fall under the scope of the new discussion thing they are wanting to set up.

The other gpart of the forum that will most likely be lost is the excellent debunking threads. If topics must go through a selection process there probably won't be any creationists charging onto the ste with their canards and creationist lies. Even if the topic starter never got any of the excellent rebuttal into their thick skull, the experience was always beneficial to anyone who read through the thread.

Maybe he has just identified the specific location that the picture is coming from? Try to save it and upload it from a different source. Unless you are uploading it from your PC then I'm not sure.
