I posted on RD.net for number of years,and have always been far more comfortable around atheists than my co-religionists - perhaps because a lot of atheists can actually think. I have not looked round the forum yet to see if anyone i know is here, but I doubt anyone will recall me, unless i had a huge row with you over on el Dawko's place. Anyway nice to meet you all: I'm not in the mood tonight for bible thumping, so I promise to behave and be a thoroughly tedious old tosser, exactly as i always have been - but I'm really glad to find another forum, and I hope you won't kick me out for my beliefs! I'm not very interesting: I have three cats, a wife and a girlfriend, like in the UK, like arguing and have a good knowledge of parapsychology and a passable knowledge of first century history and Bib Crit.) I enjoy games of any kind (with or without riding crops) and I love writing about and arguing about science, scepticism and the "supernatural". I'm often wrong though, and don't really know a lot about anything, but this is the interweb so that does not matter too much

I should have made it over before - I got my invite at a time whn i had pretty much stopped posting on forums, so it has taken me ages and took the RD net fiasco as the kick up the arse I needed to come over.
