Speaking of politics, just noticed The Hurt Locker is an Iraq film so it may also win. I would bet both ways on Precious and The Hurt Locker.
Also betting A Prophet for foreign film and Avatar is a dead cert for best special effects.

Precious won't win - it's behind Inglorious Basterds to win the award.. Best Picture is a two horse race between Avatar and Locker... trust me I know these things Ani.. I know people in the know ;)

If Precious wins Best Picture I'll post a picture of my ass in NSFW

Oh, I understood alright . I just wasn't going to hang around long enough to give you a chance to recant. You'd better hope "your people" really are in the know.

:pissed: Freddie Got Fingered got a nomination for worst film of the decade. How DARE they. That was one of the best films of the decade and one of the funniest films ever. They need to have the thumb screws applied until they recant.

Its not really about anything. Its just funny as fuck. I nearly died laughing. All my friends think its hilarious too. There's something wrong with the people who hated it because it was offensive or in shocking bad taste. They need to get a life.

Inglourious Basterds needs to win, it'll restore credibility to the Oscars.

I agree, but I doubt it will.
