Welcome Julia?

Post by Rum » Mon Dec 28, 2009 7:55 am

I see from the front page that we have a new member as of 26th December. How did I (we) miss her..unless she/he/it is one of the puppets people were messing around with a few days ago.

If not - apologies for the oversight - normally people fall over themselves to welcome new members...or perhaps they are just falling over. Put it down to Christmas drunkenness!

Welcome to Ratz in any case from me!

Hi there Julia and welcome to the "party".
And all our yesterdays have lighted fools
The way to dusty death. Out, out brief candle
Life’s but a walking shadow, a poor player
That struts and frets his hour upon the stage
And then is heard no more. It is a tale
Told by an idiot, full of sound and fury,
Signifying nothing. [

It am wicked to mock the afflicted. [

Dope will get you through times of no money better than money will get you through times of no dope. [

Half of what I say is meaningless...
But I say it just to reach you, Julia.

Julia is not a puppet, but she may be known to at least one other member.

Hi Julia, and welcome! :td:
Although it may look like a forum, this site is actually a crowd-sourced science project modelling the slow but inexorable heat death of the universe.

Welcome to the machine..... I must really copy Dev's welcome splurge somewhere. It's very good, if a little egocentric.

I'm sure he'll be along presently. So, welcome again and mind the gap.

Welcome!! We really arent that bad.
I'm wild just like a rock, a stone, a tree
And I'm free, just like the wind the breeze that blows
And I flow, just like a brook, a stream, the rain
And I fly, just like a bird up in the sky
And I'll surely die, just like a flower plucked
And dragged away and thrown away
And then one day it turns to clay
It blows away, it finds a ray, it finds its way
And there it lays until the rain and sun
Then I breathe, just like the wind the breeze that blows
And I grow, just like a baby breastfeeding
And it's beautiful, that's life
