I appreciate it, Char. :smooch:

I got a little forlorn over my ex-gf... well, not really ex-gf because we still have sex and want to be together, and text everyday, etc, but all this crazy shit is in the way, not least of which she being a (very liberal) Christian and her extended family and friends hating me. She's not quite yet ready to cut the umbilical from them for a guy, mostly because she still needs them to get through college, lol. She's also very busy lately working and going to class. She works at the civic theater here in town and they have been working non-stop for 2 weeks... etc. She's very liberal and the way we talk about religion is very deep and respectful. I see she possesses a very analytical mind and is really on the cusp, on the very edge, of just jumping into the agnostic camp, but she just can't bring herself to do it. We haven't seen each other at all in the past 3 weeks, but we've spoken and texted often. We'll be spending time together this coming week, but still... I could go on, but I won't. Anywaho... the song just caught me at an opportune moment. ;)

For some reason, part of Dasein's signature:

Her hobbies include perspicacity and building models of the soul in lego.

reminds me of a song by Belle and Sebastian:

"... and the head said that you always were a queer one from the start
For careers you say you want to be remembered for your art
Your obsessions get you known throughout the school for being strange
Making life-size models of The Velvet Underground in clay"

I see what you mean, great lyrics. Now I am in the mood for a little B&S.
