Got tickets booked for a Xmas showing of "It's a Wonderful Life" at the Cornerhouse in Manc. I love that film, me. Want to go and watch "Moon", which is on over Crimbo, too.

Wow they're showing IAWL at the Cornerhouse.. when is that on Clint?

Incidentally I was not a massive fan of The Big Lebowski.. maybe I should rewatch? I loved Fargo and No Country

A lot of the Coen's films get better the more times you watch them, Lebowski is a prime example.

IAWL is on the weekend before xmas and, I think, the weekend after. I love that film.

Big Lebowski is one of those cult films. I wasn't that into it and then watched it a couple of times at a friends house, drunk, and became a convert. Drank nothing but White Russians for almost a year. It's just so damned quotable.

If you want another good cry, see Michael Caine's "The Hand" and cry for how such a great actor would make such a dreadful movie for money.

I've just watched the Bruno movie. Has anybody seen it? That part where the dominatrix whipped him out the window was one of the funniest things I've ever seen. :funny:

I've been wanting to see that. I love Sasha Baron Cohen. He never fails to have me in hysterics.

I watched Jennifer's Body last night. Nothing amazing, but it was entertaining. The dialogue was pretty amusing at times.

I saw Law Abiding Citizen yesterday, it's farsical but oddly entertaining. I viewed it as what would happen if the US government tried to lock up Gawdzilla.

Just saw "9" (Tim Burton) and Cloudy with a Chance of Meatballs. I really liked 9, very original, extremely well-executed...from beginning to end, just a joyride of a film. You can't not like it, even if you're a cynic about movies and know what'd happen in every corner, this one is just charming.

Cloudy with a Chance of Meatballs...clearly intended for the general public, more Disney.

9 is made by Shane Acker not Tim Burton

It's produced by Tim Burton, directed by Shane if you insist to go into specifics... :coffee:
