Say good bye to plate techtonics, solarmetry, inertia, etc., and you'll enjoy it.Clinton Huxley wrote:Lady Huxley is a force of nature. I'm not anticipating a documentary. My expectations wil be for a bum-numbingly long parade of cod-acting and SFX mentalness. I'll eat a bucket of pick 'n mix and have a fine 'ole time.Gawdzilla wrote:Say good bye to plate techtonics, solarmetry, inertia, etc., and you'll enjoy it.Clinton Huxley wrote:Lady Huxley is a force of nature. I think Bert62 was addressing Bella in his post, not saying that Bella was his wife.owtth wrote:Welcome Mr. Bella!Bert62 wrote:I rarely go to movies. I think he thinks that another day above ground is a good day, and he has become far too charitable to marginal movies. My wife and I enjoyed "Five Hundred Days of Summer." It was cute, well done, occasionally profound. I loved "Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind" and so did my wife. BellaFortuna, my wife and I both love "the Women" Norma Shearer, not Meg Ryan. I was actually going to ask if both his wife and Bella liked the same movies but then I saw the "both" and comprehension fail ensued.maiforpeace wrote:I think Bert62 was addressing Bella in his post, not saying that Bella was his wife.owtth wrote:Welcome Mr. Bella!Bert62 wrote:I rarely go to movies. No, I am not "Mr. Bella", though I envy the man who is. I was indeed addressing her in my post. However, I can see how it could appear I was calling her my wife. In the wee small hours my punctuation (and my thoughts) disintegrate. Bert

But those letters are not silent.

Going to see "A Serious Man" on Saturday. Latest from the Coen brothers. Won't be as good as The Big Lebowski but then, what is?
Got tickets booked for a Xmas showing of "It's a Wonderful Life" at the Cornerhouse in Manc. I love that film, me. Want to go and watch "Moon", which is on over Crimbo, too.

I went to see Fantastic Mr Fox purely on the basis that Wes Anderson directed it, I was not disappointed. Maybe a bit slow for kids but there's plenty of laughs for adults.
