Sikh cop wins turban row.

Pc Singh is currently on sick leave from the force, and has suffered from panic attacks and high blood pressure.
Not a very good cop then if he can't hack a bit of pressure.

"indirect discrimination" because the rules around the riot training lacked "clarity".

Anyway, the riot helmet is safety gear. Surely personal safety comes before all else?
Had this guy gone into a riot situation without a helmet, then suffered a blow to the head you can bet your bottom dallar that he would've sued.

He would probably have asked to be excused from such a situation in the first place.

What with the panic attacks and high blood pressure, no wonder he's feeling sikh-ly.

Surely his policeman's uniform would supersede his religious "uniform" when he's on duty?! That's just common sense surely?
Also, he's afraid of looking like a character from a comedy show? You'd think the bit about turban crash helmets (from the show) would perfectly illustrate the absurdity of his position. But no, it's everyone else who is wrong and not him, and everyone else has to change to suit him
People think "queue" is just "q" followed by 4 silent letters.

But those letters are not silent.

They're just waiting their turn.

I'd like to know how it's "discimination" to ask someone to wear the same as everyone else?

The rest of the police force, every single one of them, should in turn inundate the court with discrimination suits. "We're being discriminated against because we're not Muslims. We want to wear turbans instead of our damned uncomfortable helmets, but we're not allowed." :hehe:
