Sometimes it's hard for me to avoid a blinding and irrational hatred of Islam and it's followers. I have heard there is actual reconstructive surgery to put back a hymen. I would venture to guess many wealthy Islamic women have availed themselves of this. So, on top of that it's the poor one is more likely to suffer the deadly consequences of faking the hymen over the rich one.
