I scored 6 of 7 tracks from the unreleased new Mastodon album!!!!!!!
:woot: :woot: :woot: :woot: :woot: :woot: :woot: :woot:

It is absolutely mind-blowing. Very progressive, very mathematical, incredibly original. The song "The Czar" is just shy of 10:00 and barely ever repeats a thing. I cannot believe how awesome this album is and can't wait to hear the rest! (the missing song is around 14:00)

Oh, and as a side note, no I don't feel bad for downloading the album. Mastodon is one of my favorite bands and my $51.46 for the collector's edition (incl tax and shipping) has already been subtracted from my bank account.
Also, my ticket for their show here April 30th at the Metro has already been purchased.

Hey Major - nice to put a face to the uniform - and a class band to boot! Jaco was a sad loss to the world when he left us.

And now for something completely different: Johnny Cash with a foot-stompin' version of The Rolling Stones No Expectations:

One Johnny Cash song is never enough. Rowboat (originally by Beck), the opening track from Unchained:

The second track isn't half bad either:
