in 1979 there is a spoken bit that is repeated. He actually said "today is" but they sort of chopped off the T.

I never had a single rap disc. I did have a good number of Reggae songs where they sort of rap.

I’ve always enjoyed the dub/dance sound. It has an interesting history too.

Eeek a Mouse and Big Youth I had on LP. The only live reggae I heard was in Berkeley, some sort of festival with the widow, Rita Marley, as part of our show. So it was the Marley band, what was left of the Wailers. Possibly Ziggy.

Yeah, for awhile you could see most of them at larger festivals. Rita’s One Draw was a big hit. It’s on a lot of compilations with the other usuals like:
