Founders Trilogy
Foundry SIde, Shorefall ( in progress ) and Locklands to come
A Brief Review of Robert Jackson Bennett's Founders Trilogy (Foundryside, Shorefall, Locklands)
The bottom line up front: I thought that this was a great series, but only if readers are willing to tolerate very significant tonal shifts from each book to the next. I thought that the writing quality improved significantly from book to book, as did the author's engagement with the central ethical themes of the trilogy. I'd give the series a 4/5. I felt as though this series had many similar plot beats and themes to Mistborn (a series which I'm personally lukewarm on, although I liked it when I first read it), and fans of that series should definitely read the Founders series

Been reading books on AI. On my third one in the last month. Some of the more popular ones have like 40 holds on them at the library.
Sent from my penis using wankertalk.
"The Western world is fucking awesome because of mostly white men" - DaveDodo007.
"Socialized medicine is just exactly as morally defensible as gassing and cooking Jews" - Seth. Yes, he really did say that..
"Seth you are a boon to this community" - Cunt.
"I am seriously thinking of going on a spree killing" - Svartalf.

It was not really readable. People doing endless office or programming jobs all day might get something out of it.

Back to my other AI book. The anti-AI nook. Extractive is a word used in every chapter.
