I was in the guitar store today, they finally opened one near me. I picked up a Gretsch, Schecter, Epiphone, Jackson etc etc, all awesome guitars, beautiful even—quilted maple veneers, gold hardware, the works. But they weren’t my tele. I got it right the first time. It’s difficult to explain but that Mexican tele is perfect.
Still, even with a perfect guitar I find myself imagining what it might be like with say a different set of pickups. How ridiculous is that!? It’s like an addiction, wanting to tinker and get new guitar stuff…—lol—

Re: Guitar porn
I’m thinking about treating myself to a little parlor acoustic. They’re inexpensive and look fun.

Re: Guitar porn
That’s perfect. I’ve been looking into a diy with Warmoth parts. But it’s absurd. I don’t need it. I play the tele every day and it’s perfect. I don’t need to be the guy with a wall of guitars! I don’t, I don’t, I don’t…
